Like most people, I loved music from basically the time I could hear. I guess my first influence would be, surprisingly enough, The Beatles, as I remember playing "A Hard Day's Night" over and over. Thanks to my dad I was also exposed to stuff like Elvis, Sinatra, and the Big Bands. But I guess ultimately my roots lie in all that great old British and American classic rock from the decade (1964-1974). Listening to my five older brothers music is how my appreciation, for what I consider artistry, developed. Those bands could do more with four tracks then they could do with sixty four today! Unfortunately I didn't pick up on music as a hobby until my mid 20's, but when I did it was the greatest love and passion I could have only dreamed about. I was the Drummer/ Singer in a band known as "The Smokin' Johosophats" for a decade playing in local bars and private parties, most notably, the famous Court Tavern in New Brunswick N.J. I'm really looking forward to see where this newest endeavor will take me, "The Living Proof Band" is comprised of very fine musicians, all with a positive attitude and fresh ideas. This is gonna be a lot of fun!
